Theraplay, Inc., a leading provider of pediatric occupational, physical and speech therapies headquartered in West Chester, Pennsylvania, is excited to announce their expansion of services in the Newtown, PA market with the relocation of their pediatric outpatient therapy center.

Theraplay’s current Newtown office opened in 2013 and has been meeting the therapeutic needs of the community since its doors opened. This move, to 32 Blacksmith Road in Newtown, PA, adds more than 1,300 square feet of treatment space, including rooms for Theraplay’s feeding program and sensory processing sessions, a larger gym, orthopedic and concussion rehabilitation areas for older patients. This growth will better equip Theraplay to treat the increasing number of patients who are being referred there.

Center Manager Caitlin Razler, MS, OTR/L, is proud of the growth Theraplay has achieved. “I am so happy and excited that we now have the space to treat more patients. We have seen a growing need for therapy in the area and it is wonderful that Theraplay is able to meet the needs of patients who would benefit from our services!”

About Theraplay, Inc.

Theraplay was founded in 1991 by physical therapist Lisa Mackell. Believing that children learn and develop best through play experiences, Theraplay provides their individualized therapy services in a play-focused environment. Their occupational, physical, and speech therapy services, along with feeding and concussion rehabilitation programs, early intervention and school services have helped improve the lives of thousands of children and their families. Theraplay added Austill’s Educational Therapy Services, in Chester County, PA, to their family of companies in 2016, and brought Positive Steps Therapy and AOT, Inc., based in western Pennsylvania, and the Children’s Therapy Center, located in Virginia, into the family in 2017. Theraplay is looking forward to continuing to grow their geographic reach, furthering their mission to maximize each child’s potential through functional play-based therapies.
