Bio: Lisa started Theraplay, Inc. in 1991 and has worked in pediatrics since 1988. Lisa believes that children deserve to be treated in child friendly environments, by dedicated and experienced pediatric therapists. Lisa has been married to her husband Steve since 1989, who works as Chief Operating Officer at Theraplay. They have two children, Brett and Kelcy. Lisa believes that children and parents should feel comfortable at all times during therapy. She enjoys her daily interactions with children, siblings, and parents. Bio: Steve has extensive experience in the rehabilitation industry, beginning as a Certified Athletic Trainer with Pat Croce’s Sports Physical Therapists. He has had progressive responsibilities and senior management experience with both public and private therapy companies. Steve’s experience includes employee training, clinical audits/quality assurance, facility development of over three hundred and fifty clinics, as well as mergers and acquisitions across the country. He has been full time with Theraplay since 2004 as Chief Operating Officer.

Bio: Greg has over 35 years in the accounting profession. He began working as a certified public accountant, after which he progressed to various management positions in computer services, allied medical field and rehabilitation for which he has spent the majority of his career. His experience spans both the public and private sector financial reporting, acquisition due diligence, audit and income tax as well as implementation of business controls and procedures. Greg is a part-time adjunct professor at Villanova University teaching in their MBA program. He has recently joined Theraplay, and resides in West Chester, Pennsylvania with his wife and children.

Bio: Maureen has been with Theraplay, Inc. since 1997. She has been a physical therapist since 1984 and has extensive experience working with children of all ages and their families in a variety of settings. Maureen has assisted international governments/medical groups with establishing early intervention services for children and their families. Maureen strongly believes in the value of families and the importance of recognizing their unique needs and building on their child’s individual strengths. Maureen has been married to her husband, Mike, since 1987. They have two children.

Bio: Samantha joined Theraplay, Inc. in May 2006 as the Center Manager of our Horsham Center. Prior to joining our team, Sam was a physical therapist at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, working with children in inpatient and outpatient settings, including critical care. Sam also completed a Leadership and Education in Neurodevelopmental (LEND) Fellowship; this is a year of interdisciplinary training, research and community outreach focusing on children with neurodevelopmental disabilities. During the LEND year, Sam completed research on Childhood Obesity and Positioning in the NICU. Sam has been an adjunct faculty member of Arcadia University’s Physical Therapy Program since 2007. In 2009 Sam was awarded 3rd Place in Advance Magazine’s Practitioner of the Year. Sam was promoted in 2012 to Associate Director of Outpatient Services providing supervision to a few of our outpatient centers; and again in 2014 to Senior Director of Outpatient Services overseeing all of Theraplay’s outpatient centers. Sam is also the Center Coordinator of Clinical Education for Theraplay. Sam has been happily married since August of 2006 and enjoys her free time with her children.

Bio: Katie has been working at Theraplay since June of 2007. She has experience working in inpatient acute care, outpatient orthopedics with experience in manual therapy for the thoracic and lumbar spine and the SI joint. During her time at Theraplay, Katie has had the opportunity to treat children in their homes, schools and in the outpatient office. Katie enjoys working with all types of diagnoses, but has a special interest in working with the medically complex patients and with children with Torticollis. Katie has been happily married since 2008 and has two children.
Occupational Therapist, Director of Contract Services

Degree: Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy
Bio: Lisa has been an occupational therapist since 1985 and has been with Theraplay since 2008. She began her career in the mental health field where she started out as a staff therapist and eventually served in a management position in a research hospital setting. Since 1990, Lisa has been practicing in a wide variety of pediatric settings including early intervention, school age services, evaluation teams, grant funded occupational therapy provision, private sensory integration therapy, and outpatient pediatric settings. Lisa highly values provision of quality therapy services to children and their families. Lisa is married and is the mother of two adult sons and a teenage daughter.

Bio: Amanda started her career with Crozer Hospital’s Department of Child and Family Services, working with children and adolescents who were at risk in the community. She was also a TSS, working with children who were on the autism spectrum. After completing her master’s degree, Amanda became a Recruiter and worked for a physical therapy company and a pharmaceutical company. She was happy to find Theraplay, Inc., where she can work closely with therapists in a child centered environment. Amanda enjoys connecting with well-qualified clinicians and is passionate about matching them to our individually designed positions. Amanda is from the Chester County area, and she enjoys being outdoors, traveling, reading, and spending time with her husband, family and friends.
Director of Outpatient Business Development
College: Shippensburg University
Degree: Bachelor of Science in Business Administration
Bio: Laurie oversees the sales and marketing efforts for Theraplay, Inc. She has an extensive sales background in the technology field. She retired from corporate sales as a Northeastern Regional Sales Director to stay home to raise her three children. During this time, she received her Emergency Certification for substitute teaching. She was a TSS and substitute teacher in the West Chester Area School District for several years while her children were in elementary and middle school. When she decided to go back to a full time career, she wanted to combine her sales experience with her love for children. Theraplay was the perfect organization for this goal. She feels that her main focus at Theraplay is to reach out to anyone that is in a position to identify a child that is struggling and ensure that they are educated on all support options available for those children. She continues to witness the benefits of early referrals and intervention for services within Theraplay with the children we treat. She is constantly humbled by the dedication and passion of the entire staff at Theraplay. When she’s not working, she loves spending time with her family and friends.
